Urgh, I'm not looking forward to going back to school. I've got a little more than a week. Thankfully I've almost finished all the work I was supposed to do over the holiday.

Oo, you've got three days! Keep up the work. Of course, there are no rules, so it could very well be unfinished!!!

Up is the sky. And a headache in the question of my head. I've got my cousins staying, and although they are wonderful and cute and lovely, they sure take a heck of a lot of energy out of you. Plus I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the holiday club at church which I'm helping to lead next week. That too will be hectic and headache inducing. But good fun.
Yourself? Not too bogged down with school matters, I hope.

Okies cool. She should be in the next chapter, or the one after that. I've decided that she's going to school to become a recording engineer =) The whole story revolves around music, hence the title, and it was the first job I could think of that wasn't already occupied by another character.
And go right ahead and use it as a prize whenever you want. I'm pretty sure I got it off some contest prize list. You just have to be ready to write the story :)

Yeah, my new story "Music Biz" so far features two contest winners and that's the one your character would be put in, if you want. All I really need is a name and an age... and maybe a bit about how she acts. Then you get to read the story and marvel over what happens :)

Well, ours isn't exactly religious, it's just put on before the Christmas holiday. I never did get why USians were so caught up in calling it just a holiday... I mean, the word holiday comes from Holy-day, which naturally links back to the religious date in question, which despite your denial is still Christmas... I might say that next time someone wishes me a happy holiday.

You definitely should. I'd visit one of the less well known lakes though, like Coniston. Windermere and Keswick can get very touristy and busy.

We had bunnies when we were little.They tended to bite. Then they died...

I looooove drama. There's a Youth Theatre at our school, who put on a christmas and summer production, although the summer is only for the younger years. So I act in the Christmas one, and help out with the Summer one. The last thing we did was Calamity Jane. That sucks that you haven't got one at your school - you should try to set one up! I'm sure if you got a teacher to support you and gained enough student interest you'd get somewhere.

Aw, that's a shame. But I guess it must cost a lot for plane tickets alone! It was goooorgeous there. Had a week of rain, but that was whilst we were sailing, so it didn't matter. And then some lovely sunny days when we were walking - very good timing on the weather front.

Footnotes and Bedlam are both student-run Drama Societies. Footnotes turned out the likes of Stephen Fry, and Bedlam is just too amazing to explain. Footnotes = Oxbridge and Bedlam = Edinburgh.

The Lake District is located in roughly the middle of England, and it is a district of Lakes. Famous for it's outdoor pursuits opportunities, it became a tourist attraction for the fairly-well-off in Victorian times, and has gradually become one of the countries national treasures since. It's pretty green, pretty hilly, pretty wet.
