Honestly? I'm terrified of how easily I can lie to myself.
I've learned how to turn off all emotion, which is why I seemed so different.

I had to do that to keep myself from falling and getting too deep, to save myself from rock bottom. It turns me into an insensitive bitch, but it seems to save me from wanting to die, which I needed to focus on since it's a pretty bad episode I'm going through right now.

I'll be okay. It normally takes about two weeks to bounce back. It's only been one so far, I can do this.

The depression is something I've fought for YEARS before I even met my ex. He triggered an episode. Several people close to me have, and I'm still friends with most of them now. If it won't kill me, I don't worry about too damn much.
