To be frank, I feel that if that's the case then it's your fault.

Okay, so technically my school colours are red and gold, but still, who has a lot of gold to wear? So we pretty much wear red and yellow... lol
I understand about the littlekids not being spirited... but still, when i was in Kindergarden I still knew my school colours... but that's cause they were cool: Green and purple :) My favourite colours. xD

Yes, arts... like, dance, drama, writing, music, fashion, singing etc...
Red and White are crap colours for a school... i think school colours should be obnoxious and bright.. and the white throws it off. lol
