I have done both. I grew up in Southern California until 01 and then my family moved to Montana. In 07 when I graduated I decided to go to college in Nebraska where I am now. Also in 07 I actually got to GO to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Lichtenstein (mostly Germany) as my graduation gift. It was beautiful.

One of my mom's friends went to Ireland a little while back and got me and my brothers things from there. My brothers have plaid scarves and I have a celtic knot necklace XD I would love to go to both Ireland and Scotland though.

It's true motivation is very much lacking. And the internet can make it hard. I have a Gaelic book somewhere. I have to remember/find where I put it >.>
