Dude, I've been saying it's the Cubs' year since like, six years ago. Haha, but it's most definitely just that little glimmer of hope (;

Yes, 102... It's so LONG. Haha. It's like- my whole family wasn't even thought of when they last won. Haha.
Their year's comin'; I can sense it (;

Well, thank you! I hope he can get his, too, because that would be seriously awesome! (:
Gosh, I know. I know exactly how that is. Being a Cubs fan- I've said it a billion times, and I'm sure you're annoyed by it now -but, not have a World Series Title for 102 years... It's depressing!

Haha, I'm holding him to it! His cousin has season-tickets, so I'm praying that he'll give us the seats for the day the 'Hawks come out here. Haha. I gotta see my boys (;
Agh, it's like that for Cubs baseball, too, most of the time- unless you wanna sit in the bleachers. It's PACKED. Haha. But I like to see stadiums like that- it means that the team's either doing well, or has gratefully faithful fans (:

Nobody out here is interested in hockey... one of my friends likes it. Haha. So he's the only one I can really talk to about it; but I made him promise to take me to a Ducks game :P

Well, shieeet. Haha.
My parents always tell me I scare the boys away, because they have really nothing to teach me :P

I don't see why they couldn't have just accepted the fact that you didn't know much, and tried to still get you in on the conversation! I mean, sure, you weren't all up on the same level, but they could have taught you some stuff!

That's annoying! I hate it when people push that type of stuff on you like that; it's like, um really?! I can't stand when people act like they're the shit because they know stuff- it's so annoying!

Oh, I'm the same exact way with baseball & football. Most of the guys I talk to are surprised when I can keep up with them in a discussion about sports. Haha.

Seriously! That would be such an awesome story; you'd never be a doubted hockey fan (;
Haha, thats so random! I'd have to physically put my Toews shirt on my brother... lol.

Omg, haha. That's funny! I'm not a fan of Ovie, either, to tell you the truth. Haha.

Oh, really?! I wasn't a big hockey fan until last season, like towards the end of October, when my cousin got me hooked on it. Haha. Of course I was a destined 'Hawks fan; if I wasn't, I'd be disowned (; Lmao.
Really?! And you live in Canada? Haha. The only person on Russia that I like even a little bit is Malkin (;

Yes, yes they can hear us. Haha.
Ah, no, I know what you mean! It was sad, because I think the Flyers put up a hell of a fight, and even though I love the 'Hawks, and even though I hate Pronger, it WAS sad to see them lose. At home, too, made it even worse.
My brother does that to me too! My favorite baseball player got traded from the Cubs to the Dodgers (I HATE the Dodgers), and he's STILL like, 'Haha! Ryan Theriot's on the Dodgers!' So annoying. Haha.

Dude, so am I! it's ridiculous! Like, someone will make a stupid play, or a ref/ump misses a call- it's over. I know they can hear me from my house, wherever the hell they are. Lmao.
Oh, I definitely cried during their series. Definitely. Haha. Especially when it was over and Jonny gave Hoss the Cup; the water gates were open. Haha. Me and my mom, who doesn't even know anything about hockey, sat around, crying. Haha.

I'm like that with baseball, because I used to play softball. Haha.
The same with football- I find myself yelling at the TV, with my dad. Lmao.

Mhmm, I agree completely. It's too late to change it; we just need to try and preserve it for as long as we cann.
