  • Exactly! It is our fault, because we pay to go to the games, we watch them on tv, we buy their jerseys, which all fuels their pay.

  • It's true! They really are the least paid! But, honestly, I don't like how much, compared no regular people, they get paid- any sports star. Gosh, I dislike Favre so much, it's ridiculous.

  • Haha, I think it was because I was HOOKED on Toews and Getzlaf at the time. :P
    I, honestly, think all athletes are overpaid. I'm sorry, but for playing sixteen football games, Brett Favre doesn't deserve deserve a million bucks a game. No way. It's RIDICULOUS. Baseball players, too! And hockey players! And tennis players! And especially basketball players! Lmao.
    Nobody should be making that much money a year! hahah.
    August 20th, 2010 at 04:39am
  • Ah! I'd die! That's great- I don't even remember watching the game, really... I just remember Toews' goal & Crosby's... (I was secretly rooting for Canada, haha.)
    Haha, I know! Gosh, it's so annoying! Like, get it through your thick, overpaid, head. It doesn't help anything.
    August 20th, 2010 at 03:36am
  • Lmfao, I would just die. I love when they randomly fall; unless they're a player I like, of course. Haha.
    Right?! I'm always like, um, no.
    August 20th, 2010 at 03:24am
  • Ahahah! That sounds hilarious; and the way I'm picture it, it IS hilarious(;
    Dude, I know! They'll get hit on the butt, and limp down the first base line. I'm like, no. You have fat there for a reason- it can't all be muscle.
    August 20th, 2010 at 02:51am
  • Ahaha, I've never seen it, but I'm sure!
    It's the same way with baseball players getting hit by a pitch. They act like their hand's gonna fall off, when we all know it didn't even hurt them.
    August 20th, 2010 at 02:02am
  • Yes! Icing in hockey is like tripping someone in either one of those sports. Haha.
    August 20th, 2010 at 01:49am
  • Oh, it's totally true! Hockey's unique for that reason. But that's also the reason other sports don't allow hits like that- they don't want people to get seriously injured.
    August 20th, 2010 at 01:20am
  • Haha, like I've said before, that's the ONLY part of hockey I don't like- the crazy hits. It's the same in baseball- collisions between runners and basemen, and lots of catchers. I just wanna know when they're gonna stop it all- when someone gets killed?
    August 20th, 2010 at 12:46am
  • Haha, yes! Their stupidity is the result of hits. Let's weed out the bad ones, and take care of this crap. Lol.
    August 20th, 2010 at 12:05am
  • I hadn't heard of them! But I think I'm going to look into it now (;
    Well that's honestly good, because, when you think about it, that's where probably half of the crazy collisions and hits take place... and the other fifty percent is made up of dummies trying to get the puck/get someone back for a hit they laid down. Haha.
    August 19th, 2010 at 06:26am
  • It's crazy! And the only reason it's going up because they're lightening up on calls!
    ahaha, yes(;
    August 19th, 2010 at 05:35am
  • Agh, it's getting freaking crazy. Gosh, I don't know. The hits/violence is the only part of hockey I don't like. Because it could seriously injure someone.
    ahaha, love that kid(; Although I shouldn't call him a kid... Haha.
    August 19th, 2010 at 02:28am
  • It does make it interesting, and I guess I like it, but when it gets to the point where someone's getting hurt, that's when I hate it. Because I can't stand to see players- no matter how much I don't like him -get hurt. Seeing the hit Wisniewski laid down on Seabrook last year totally brought that into my perspective.
    Oh yes! And Abdelkader! I'm falling in love with him, haha.
    August 19th, 2010 at 12:15am
  • He totally does, and I know it's not his fault! lmao; that's why I classify it as "dirty", because he does it without getting caught. Haha.
    I totally feel the same way! Plus, the young faces on the team don't hurt... ahaha (;
    August 18th, 2010 at 06:33am
  • I just think he lays down a lot of dirty hits and plays dirty without getting shit called on him. But I guess I respect him for that; I just don't like him on the ice.
    Oh, I'm sure they did. Because I'm not a big Philly fan, I didn't really get the chance to watch many of their games, but I gotta give them credit. They played a hell of a season. Well, honestly, I like the Wings! Call me a non-traditional 'Hawks fan all you want; but I can't help it! I think they've got a good team, and I wanna see what they're gonna do this season!
    August 18th, 2010 at 12:05am
  • Haha, gosh! I just think he's a douche! Lmao. But I totally understand that you like him. I like Price, and you don't. We both think the opposites play dirty; that's something I really don't mind, because I actually like hearing why people like the players I don't. Haha.
    I think alot of it was just because of the drought in Chicago. But honestly, I feel like they deserved it- they worked their butts off, and I'm sure Philly did, too, but after watching this season from beginning to end, and seeing what the 'Hawks went through, I had no choice but to cheer for them.
    August 17th, 2010 at 06:18am
  • Ah, he's definitely my favorite(:
    I've gotta admit, I haven't watched many Montreal games- even in the playoffs. So, I've only seen a few; I actually watched Game One of the Playoffs between them & the Pens earlier today. Haha.
    Omfg, I just want to punch him in the face. He just annoys the crap out of me! Like, if I could send someone away, to where I never had to see them again, it would be him!
    Oh, I don't mind! Haha. Just as long as you don't mind me not liking Pronger/the Flyers, and rooting for my boys in Chicagoo<3
    August 17th, 2010 at 04:59am
  • Ah, Duncan Keith. Love him<3 Haha. Gosh, I'm practically in LOVE with Geno (:
    Really? I kinda like Carey Price! Just a little bit(; Haha. But I absolutely can't STAND Chris Pronger. I just hate him. I think he's the only one, really...
