Someone asked me to write a poem for them to use as a stimulus for their photography project. I came up with this, a verbal snapshot of an old route that I happen to know well...

A poem about when I was beaten up outside a gig when I was 15. The broken metre is meant to reflect the rather (illegally) drunk state I was in at the time.

This is a pastiche of the famous speech "All the World's a Stage (and all the men and women merely players) from Shakespeare's comedy: "As You Like It". Originally written just as a creativity exercise, but I thought I would share it.

A quick doodle a friend of mine asked me to write for her. Just a bit of skittish fun :)

A sonnet with an ironic twist. This won me a Poetry Prize in my last year of Sixth Form.

A little doodle I dashed out late one night when I had that dreaded "Poet's Syndrome." A bit of a self deprecating pastiche written in iambic pentameter.
