Glad you have a nice xmas break. Mine was cool, just visited family and then for New Year we had a house party. We were going to go out but couldn't be bothered with the price and the hassle of it so everyone brought their own alcohol and we just played games and stuff, was pretty cool. You made any new years res?

Ah, cool, really? Imagine if you had gone to Chester, would have been weird lol. I sometimes wish I'd gone to a big city like Leeds or Manchester but at the same time I love living in a small city. Everyone knows everyone at our uni in some way (although that has often come back to bite me and my housemates in the ass lol). I love Leeds though. I live pretty near it and have family and friends in Wakefield and Shipley so I always used to visit Leeds :) I'm glad you're enjoying it =D What year are you in? I'm loving it. I hated it in my 1st year and then in second year I just changed and now miss Chester when I'm away from it lol

pretty much the same. Seeing my family and working and shizzle. Spending New Years at uni as well which'll be weird. I've never spent it not with my family before but I guess that's part of growing up =]

First of all, I really must tell you that I am ROFLing at your profile picture. Knowing the story behind it makes it even funnier. It makes me so proud and happy for you to see how strong and independent you are, and that you're finding yourself to be the amazing person I know you to be. No one should ever give you any shit, and if they do, you just dish it right back, and if you need backup, then you know who to call!

We had a great Thanksgiving. Brandy did indeed come home last weekend, then we drove her back for classes on Monday and picked her up on Monday evening for break. The weekend trip was to see Aiden again, and we had a blast! The club only held about a hundred or so people, and Nick (the bassist) sat with my husband and me for the first two bands. Lovely guys--just adore 'em!

It sounds like Leeds is just ever so much better for you than Huddersfield. You made a great decision to transfer, and it makes me so happy to hear how much you're loving it. It's the best years of your life, and I keep telling Brandy the same thing--although I think she realizes it anyway! XD She went to "Rocky Horror" with a bunch of friends last night and did the underwear run....*sniff* makes a mother so proud!

Hope you enjoyed the turkey. We're all stuffed--we just got back from seeing "Twilight" and eating Indian food. The movie was wonderful! Have you seen it yet? It was funny--Edward's skin in the sunlight looked exactly the way I imagined it. I feel pretty lucky--I'm married to an Edward, so if I accidentally say his name... (That was harsh, wasn't it?? Oooops!)

It is always so incredibly lovely to hear from you. One day I shall come across yon Atlantic to England again, and when I do, my first priority will be to ring you up and give you a big hug! Prepare--we will most assuredly leave nothing standing!

Yeah, I've been at school for about 2 weeks now.
I like my classes a lot, I'm still undecided about what I want to major in.
Overall I like college a lot, however, I am changing roomates at the end of this week. I have 2 right now, and they're basically very inconsiderate, so I'm switching rooms with one of their friends. Other than that it's a ton of fun and I've met a lot of cool people.

I know you're up to your ears right now, dear girl, but I'd like just a second to let you know how much I'm thinking about you and wishing you all the best. I hope you're holding your head up and washing your face in sunshine.

Oh english litterature sounds awesome! I love everything about litterature anyway so yeah. I really hope you could get there, you'd make an incredible teacher. And yeah! French would be an excellent add, I can speak french, like I've been studying it all my life and it's a real amazing language. Go for it my smarty girl! :D
