i have two years left, technically, but i won a place on this course for next year called the transition year programme, which is absolutely amazing, but it means you have to take a three year leaving cycle. only 18 people in each school in ireland get a place in it, so to be one out of the hundreds in my year to get a place is...well, pretty special. it an extra year you take, where youre taught using alternative methods. example: we'll be going on a european tour (the UK, germany, poland, austria, spain, france, italy and holland) to learn history, geography, languages and loads of other shit first hand. were going to write and professionally record our own mini-album, we're going to be doing a shitload of work experiance...stuff like that. should be good fun. specially since my best friend, steph, and my 'its complicated' friend, mikey, got in too..
i have no idea what i want to do after school...i want to do teaching, but you need a leaving honor in irish for that, and i dont think ill manage it...i might try for journalism either. philosoply and politics would be cool either, but youd never get a job here with those. lol!

chocolate sickens me lol im sitting here with a easter egg on the desk, trying to eat it cos my aunt, who gave it to me, is staring at me. thank god for jake, my baby brother (18 months), i keep secretly feeding him bits. hes gonna be one chubby little kid i do this to him every easter lol!
tests...grrrr. im in third year here, which is the equivilant of 10th grade in the states. third year and sixth year (12th grade) are the two years you have to sit exams here, so i've been working super hard lately. i got my mock results back yesterday (do you have mocks in the states?), and i did pretty well, i guess...3 As, 4 Bs, 2 Cs and 2 Ds. which isnt two bad considering im doing everything at honor level and have the shittest teachers known to man for irish and science (the two subjects i D'd). but i really have to buckle down for my art portfolio, i have four weeks left til my deadline and only one project and a half done (out of three). ima do a little cheating and use my stuff from first year *shifty eyes*

s'okay lol i did basically nothing for easter...mostly cos my mom was working. no wonder the nurses union is striking here! lol... easter's not my favourite holiday. cos i hate chocolate lol! bleugh...i tell my family every year, and they still insist on giving me chocolate. although i did get a fair haul of money this year...s'pose im a little old for chocolate.
