Haha. I'm completely excited to be going to a couple of Blackhawks games in March during my spring break, one against the Islanders and one against the Oilers. I was excited to go see Rick DiPietro, until he hurt himself (again), and won't be playing. But, I'll still be able to see Sam Gagner with Edmonton :)February 5th, 2009 at 11:54pm

Haha. I'm the exact same way. I'm super shy unless I'm watching a hockey game, and then I'm screaming and yelling like crazy :)
And, I also said Chicago was going to get the cup this year. I also promised one of my friends that Jonathan Toews wasn't going to get injured this year, and so far (*knock on wood*) he hasn't.
And, I totally understand about the Kings :) Just look at Chicago a couple of years ago,even. Just stick with them, and it'll be their turn eventually!February 5th, 2009 at 11:47pm -

I just read your story, and I have to say I love it :)
And your profile made me laugh--"I am usually a nice calm human being, but during hockey season I am anything but"--I'm exactly the same way. I actually bought the tickets kind of on a whim. I knew I was going to the Islanders game since the schedule came out at the beginning of the year, and then I didn't know if I wanted to drive downtown Chicago twice within 5 days, but I couldn't pass up seeing Sam Gagner!
