In all honesty, I would completely understand if he chose to never actively search for love again. He was completely devoted to Jonna, their infatuation with each other was obvious to anyone who saw a picture of the two of them. And then something just happened......
I agree with you about feeling bad for him. He's surrounded by men who are happy with their wived and children, something that he doesn't have. But I think that he may be used to it at this point. I saw an interview and he said that he doesn't really go out much when he's at home, and that the band is rather personal about their private lives, even amongst themselves. So he's probably not surrounded by their happiness every second of the day.
I don't want him to die, but I want him to be happy. If it gets to the point where he feels that he would be happier in death, then that's his prerogative. I would mourn, of course. I would be completely and utterly devestated, but I think I would understand.
I don't think I would do anything to be with him, I'm incredibly headstrong and I think that our personalities would clash to much. That's not to say that I wouldn't try.

oh, that would be a site to see if somebody saw you. i would laugh so hard if i saw that, but then i would be a bit scared.

Dry, sarcastic senses of humor are my favorite. It's probably because I don't find most things funny. People are constantly telling about new films in the theater and how funny they are, but I know that I will only find it stupid and not funny in the least.
I haven't heard the children's clothing interview, but I have heard the dildo one. He's been talking about that for a while, some of the times he says it with a straight face and other times he laughs. I love how interviewers, particularly American ones, just believe him and take his word even though the idea is absolutely absurd.
It would make sense that his mind is probably one of the main reasons why he's alone. I think he has a bit of an anti-social personality, which when paired with his mind, would make it very hard to live with him, I would imagine. It's heartbreaking when you think about it, that he writes all these songs about love, and yet, from what we know, he has yet to find that one person who he can spend forever with. And he may not ever find them. I hope that he finds someone, and I hope that I don't end up in a similar situation.

Random question, how do you make your comments invisible to viewers? Because I would love to do that, but don't know how.

Oh, I get the deep talking thing. In a way I understand why people don't like having serious, involved conversations, it's a means of self preservation. A way to protect themselves. But sometimes it's just like, "I really need to just talk to someone," but none of my friends want to listen to my problems or have me listen to theirs.

Ville is a very complex thinker, if a person can't tell just from listening to his lyrics, they can tell as soon as they here him speak in an interview. Even when he's making a complete ass of himself and telling sex jokes you can tell that when he's in a serious conversation that he's a deep thinker.
I, personally, have wanted to read some of the books that he's mentioned, especially "I Have the Right To Kill Myself."
I never really thought about whether he helped me matured in my way of thinking and reacting to things, but now that I've actually opened my mind to that idea, I can see it. He has an ability to help people see things in a different light.

I'm with you on that one. I've never really understood human nature and how much people enjoy hurting each other. I would like to think that it all goes away once we're adults but I know that not all of it does. There's always gonna be some bitch at your work or some douche-bag neighbour and you just can't get away from it. Having someone to talk to helps though.

And while I don't think I'm the [i]only[/i] sane person in my area, I know that I'm one of the few. The age thing just comes with the territory. I think that we're blessed though to be so much more emotionally mature than those others. It means that we don't have to think or act near their level of stupidity.

Wow. That's about all I have to say.
It sounds like your friends weren't really your friends, it sucks to have to go through something like that. I was in a similar situation this year with a group of friends that I've stopped talking to.
As for the boyfriend thing, I can't relate. The idea of being best friends with someone and then dating them only to find out that they're actually gay sounds like something out of some teenage drama movie.
But it sounds like you plan on getting out of wherever you are now as soon as possible, so once you leave you'll more than likely make better friends. In fact, I'm almost sure of it. People's personalities develop over time and once they're older they realized how stupid they were and become much better people for it (hopefully).

And don't worry about the boring me thing; I love listening to people's problems and talking about them. I would be a psychologist when I'm older if I wasn't so devoted to anthropology. So if you ever need an un-biased person to just spill to, I'm here.
