And hahahahaha at Shrek comparision, though it is a good one. I think every human is sort of like an onion, if we are to use Shrek's perspective. We all have our layers and ideas, opinions and secrets; you know? I think that's what makes human relations and social things interesting - people are complex, no matter how you look at it.
And just to say it here - Donkey is the coolest doneky ever!

Yup, he is paranoid, but he has every right to be and it is actually bothering him a lot. I don't think Nick realizes the extent of 'mean' he goes to, he is simply trying to understand everything that's been going on. He is confused, I would say... and yet, he is determined in a way.

And yes, Riley doesn't see herself very clearly. To me she seems like an intriguing person whereas she sees herself as a strange one. I think that, often, the people that stand out are the ones other people want to know more about. Lol. I am the stand-outer, you could say, though i doubt people care what I do when I stand out. :P

I guess they think I am strange because I don't have much friends - one legit friend that is there for me. x) [but that's more than enough; better than having fakers around me]

Cutesy parts are on and of course Nick and Riley will end up together... eventually. In the sequel, finally. Hahahahah. [dammit, insider info again]

First of all - thank you SO MUCH for that amazing comment! I appreciate every comment I get, but yours was truly amazing and it made me smile. Seriously, thank you for taking time to read and for liking this and I don't even mind stalking the story [I do that with some stories, as well; it's totally normal. And it did happen to me a few times that I didn't get an email about an update.]

Anyway, yeah.
I love describing Nick from Riley's point of view and I really think that it is the clearest way to see him because even though she thinks she is socially awkward and not-skilled, she notices people. You know? She really sees others and I think that the only problem is that she doesn't really understand that she can see people. Haha.
Nick's layers. I think his layers creat layers for the story. He is an interesting character to write and I love just writing his actions.

And Riley sees people, but there are a few things that happened behind the scenes... and not even readers know that; so you get some exclusive because I loved the comment. Anyway, something happened that makes Nick feel really guilty [when it isn't as serious as he makes it out to be in his head] and Cash knows, and he actually cares about Riley even though he isn't out-spoken as much. His character is there as a bystander that throws in comments. Well, you'll see the rest... point is Cash does not approve of what happened.

Peter is not really a bad guy; he is simply in the way and he is persistent. I mean, he wouldn't have done anything bad to Riley, but on the other hand no one really likes him much because Peter is stubborn and he likes Riley; he is kind of annoying, though.

And I actually got side tracked before writing those last cutesy moments and when I got back I was lost... seriously, I had this idea of what I would write and then it just faded away. Luckily I brought the cuteness back.
