haha, it's okay. :] i don't mind. i'm just afraid that i might've forgotten what we talked about last lol.

D: you mean the theory of music? yeah lol it's kinda hard to grasp at first. i mean, when you're a little kid and they teach you step-by-step and 'cause you absorb things easier/faster, it's easy. but when you're older it's like whuuut. /:

hahah. i've been forced to by my mum. :p but whatever, i'm glad she forced me. at least i've got some sort of "talent", right? i mean, if she hadn't forced me to take up piano, i'd know absolutely nothing apart from what we learn in school (since i don't play sports/dance/play other instruments/etc).

i just wish she forced me to take up more stuff, and like... exposed me to more things. like, she sent me to piano (classical) and ballet (which i hated too much so she gave up sending me for classes. apparently i hated it so much i would stomp around while everyone else was tiptoeing. and i was four xD). i wish she'd tried sending me for other instruments like drums or guitar, maybe different kinds of dance too, like hip hop or tap or whatever (well i don't think i would've liked those other kinds of dance - i don't really fancy dancing - but i mean at least give it a try, right?)... not to mention sports. -.- ah well. :/

oh, yeah. i have a piano in my house. two actually, lol. one's the normal kind, the other's digital. i rarely ever use the digital one tho. my mum was basically tricked into buying it by the sales dude; it has this function where it lights up at the keys, so like, if you can't read notes or wtv, you can just follow the lights... following the lights makes it too slow to play the song properly tho. and whenever my mum says she'll "learn" an instrument, she always gives up really easily (piano, guitar, gu zhen...).

hahah, yeah... and my piano teacher just LOVES classical music. i mean, i don't mind some classical music. i like slow, romantic pieces. likee, beethoven's older works, like fur elise and moonlight sonata (which are from the classical period, but like headed towards the romantic period or something like that). but my teacher loves baroque music (the very first kind of music), like bach - all those... march-like, "joyful" songs. :/

haha, really? i haven't been able to find any tho, hmm... i mean guitar chords/tabs are easy to find. but piano sheets are like x.x. D:

haha, yeah, it does take practice. or, you just have to be naturally perfect-pitched..... only gifted people are born that way tho. D: omg ikr, i know what you mean about your friends. hell, i have a friend who can freaking play any song you like (like, just name a random song she knows) spontaneously on the piano. she doesn't even need to test out the keys/how it sounds. she's just THAT good at playing by ear. and i doubt she's born perfect-pitched. ._.

well, she goes for two kinds of piano classes: my kind, ABRSM, where they teach you classical music stuffs which is basically just reading notes and playing classic music and later on, composing music based on theory (like, there are rules on how to compose and stuff, and you compose it not by pressing keys on the piano but just writing... ugh); and another kind, YAMAHA, where they train you to be perfect-pitched (like they make you memorize how each note sounds and they test you and stuff - they train you since you're like four years old so it's easy for you to pick up and like yeah), how to compose freely, how to make harmonies, etc. YAMAHA's a really good piano course thing, i think she learned how to play by ear and stuff from there.

haha. drums are fun i suppose. but pretty hard too, you needta practice. and oh gosh you just reminded me, i have drum class tomorrow and i haven't practiced at all, and my teacher just gave me a shitload of things to practice last week... i'm screwed, he's gonna murder me. D:

oh yeah! hahah. omg lol. :p haha, yeah. malay's the main language here (not maylay :p), followed by english, then mandarin, then tamil. something like that. :p 'cause majority of the population is malay ("malay" is both the word for the language and the race), followed by chinese (who speak mandarin), and then indians (who speak tamil). english is just 'cause... we were ruled by the british once, so i guess, yeah. :p plus i mean, english is the world's most commonly used language, so yeah. i just about only speak english, and when i have to, malay. i don't properly know any other language than that, unfortunately. D:

I really don't know CSS all that well, hahaha. I just Google tutorials and Frankenstein things the best I can. My layout took me like...nine hours--way more than anyone can tell you it should have taken--and I doubt I'm gonna feel up to screwing with it again for quite a while. But I'm happy how it turned out.

Actually, between you and me? I think I got really lucky this time. My CSS usually doesn't look this good. :B
