um. i've been playing the piano since i was four, but i really freaking suck 'cause i never ever practice 'cause i don't like to 'cause i don't like the songs i'm made to play. it's all classical/baroque pieces, ugh. and even if i want to learn other songs, my teacher usually only knows pop songs like bieber (thanks to her other students) and it sucks 'cause it's hard to find score sheets for the songs i want to learn, like mayday parade or the used or whatever. D:
and i can't play by ear. i really want to learn to do that. i swear, if i could play by ear i would love myself and the world so much, lolol. but unfortunately i can barely tell if an instrument is out of tune, let alone know what notes/chords are being played when i hear 'em. ¬.¬
i just started learning the guitar and drums, like just a few weeks ago. i've always wanted to learn them, but idk, i never considered actually going for lessons until just recently. so yeah. x] the guitar's kinda hard, i mean learning how to strum basic chords is okay, but i don't know how the hell i'm going to play barre chords, and plucking/fingering is just hard. D:
the drums are okay though. on the first lesson the teacher said i seemed like i'd learned how to play before, when i really haven't, which is really cool. x] in school, when we have like music class and we do percussion things (like random instruments that just about anyone can play - like shaking and hitting random things, lol, like boomwhackers, if you don't know what those are google 'em), my teacher has kinda acknowledged me as one of the students with a better sense of rhythm than others. idk, i've just always loved rhythmic patterns. :3
HAHAH. we malaysians add "lah" to some of our sentences. we literally sometimes say stuff like "what lah you". :p "lah" is really hard to explain; it's like... for instance, if i complain about my homework, someone could say, "just stop complaining and do it, lah". or if i'm asking someone for something but they're taking too long to give me what i want, i could just go, "never mind lah". lol, idk. "what lah you" kinda translates to "omg, you suck". xD
you would like a... something. i forgot what un coca is. :p hahah, omg weird. idk, i stopped learning french 'cause my mum doesn't want me to learn it 'cause she says i should try to learn mandarin first ('cause i'm a chinese and all, it's weird how idk how to speak my own language lol). sigh. i've been trying to learn mandarin on and off since i was seven. nothing's gone into my head, except i know how to say "i don't know how to speak mandarin", in mandarin. x] i don't even know how to write it, though. :/
hahah. :3 idk, i opened 'em out of a whim. i only got one request so far though, but that's not miscellaneous, it's some NICS tiva thing, idk, so i don't really wanna do it... so i kinda just declined it. meh. i don't even feel like doing layouts anymore right now, lol. i just kinda felt like it at that point in time.
