The chicken was perfect and tied everything together with a delicate red ribbon. I like how you made the boy sound awkward and normal like it could have been anyone in real life. It makes it so much more tangible. And I love that she loved him even though he had an awkwardness to him, and how she still loved him, til the end.

The poem is so realistic. I wonder if you've been through and experience like this, but I'm too afraid to ask.
