The Writer - Comments

  • Very different, from my writin style. But much liked.I really enjoyed reading this poem.It was a nice refreshing poem after a hard day of writing. It felt personal to me,as it would any writer. We all face the same struggles and achievements. We all love our pencils, our notebooks, our stuff. But the ideas in our heads are very much our own.not, much to complain about with this poem. The talent speaks for itself.

  • Really like it. Very descriptive and far from the style I tend to write. You took a topic and delved very deeply into it. It's very close to all of our hearts since many of us, writing is our passion. Great work.

  • I really like this peom, its always interesting to actually write about writers and I love how you've written this in third person so that your writing about 'the writer.' - It's very effective. The rhyme is very clever and not nonsensical which is really good, I think it can sometimes hard to use rhyme properly, but yours add to the rhythm of the poem and makes for a very enjoyable read.

The last two lines: "And still her graceful hand glides across the page
Waiting for another idea to take center stage." - are my favourite. A very genius and effective way to end the poem, I really loved those lines.

Overall I think this has been written very well, you definitely have a way with words. the descriptive imagery you use with lines such as 'and still her graceful hand glides across the page..' really creates images in my head of what your writing, and I think shows your admiration for writers. Really well done! (:
