The End - Comments

This poem has a storytelling feel to it. I like it. The description of imagery is really great--the poem immerses me in the scene through sight and sound.

I love how this poem introduces me to a scene, and then throws at me, "That was how the world ended." It was a turn I wasn't expecting the poem to take, and I really liked it. Those last five lines are incredibly powerful.

I loved it. It was terribly tragic, and yet I was still left feeling like everything was going to turn out okay.
