Familiar - Comments

Usually romantic poems are stiff and very stream-of-thought, but I felt like you really thought this out, yet the words simply came. I can't describe the feeling when I read this.

This literally brought tears to my eyes. This was so well written. I love your use of repetition, and your imagery just blows my mind. I can really see this being used as song lyrics or something :)

I'll be the first to say I don't enjoy poetry, but I loved this. Loved, loved, LOVED it! I could picture the people and the emotions and I seriously read it twice because I loved it so much. "For an hour then/I loved you." That is wonderful. This poem is wonderful. Great job!

I like how this is about a fairly normal topic: love. And yet, you haven't made it cliché, you haven't made it full of teen agony and heartbreak and passionate love and such. It's not predictable, overemotional like that. It's realistic. It just screams "art".
