I agree with the comment below me, this truly is a haunting story . It's a great poem, they gave up their lives for a new life that was being created inside of her, they were so young and didn't know what fate had in store for them.
I love it :)

It's a haunting but sweet story. Just to let you know, *lie *womb *followed *grim. I find grammar important. but good poem still :)
