In The Rain - Comments

This is a god poem. The imagery was really good and it flowed nicely. My favorite parts of it would be

How could you leave me behind
Like a spent cigarette?

and

So here I sit.
Freezing in tears.
Being consumed
by all my old fears.

I'll remember not to let my guard down,
Keep the walls strong and sturdy.
Protect my heart
Don't let it get dirty.

Here I sit in the rain.
I know better now.
