Barbie is screwing the heads of children. This first line made me smile, I love it, its so blunt and straightforward :D

Because in that first line you just relayed the whole message of this poem, which I love btw, 'screwing' can basically be used to say that the whole view of Barbie and her 'sexy-ness' and 'perfectness' is actually assaulting your children with disgusting morals and views.

I love that this is advice to your younger sister, you should keep this and save it so you can both look at it when you're older and laugh, because it is silly, having society to subject children to this idiocy or the bullshit as you say x]

By and by, I love it, it may not have that poetic ring to it but its simple and blunt and you should be proud of this xD

This poem has a really good message to it, I'm sure a lot of people can relate. It's sad that from a very young age, children are being exploited to the sexualisation of Barbie and such objects and celebrities with Barbie type bodies are repeatedly shown in the media and is held up as a perfect body ideal and it's giving children a distorted view of perfection. I really like that you're looking out for your sister, by the way :)

"Your seven years old!" 'Your' should be 'you're'.

You also mention the negative size fourteen thing in the very first sonnet, I know you're trying to emphasise how thin Barbie is, but it doesn't sound real imo but it's just a nit-pick of mine, aha.

    Good job :)

This is amazing, with a really good message. Barbie and the media are warping the heads of little children, why should they worry about appearance. All children have to worry about is being children. You're an amazing sister to write this for your sister.

This is awesome. This is a good message to everyone, showing that society is grabbing a hold of our youth and breaking them down already. I'm sorry that your sister is going through this, at seven, but you are an awesome older sister for writing this, and teaching her that she only needs to be herself to be accepted.

Absolutely love this. The message is amazing, and you're an awesome sister. My sister and I used to be like why can't we be like barbie when we were younger, but as we got older we learned to appreciate who we are and what we look like. Keep up the amazing work, and your sister should be proud of who she is :) <3

I love this poem, mostly because it speaks the truth, and also because it puts a powerful hold on people :)

Oh wow. This is a great a poem. I like the message you're putting across. Barbie (and by that I mean the personification of skinny being beautiful and all that) really is screwing up kids' minds. God.
