This poem is personal to me... It's about how I broke up with a past boyfriend, but not in a "clean" sort of way. I didn't delete him out of my life; there were still ties between us. He moved on very quickly. He kinda cut the remaining "chords" that linked our lives together. This hurt me, but at the same time I was grateful for it. Because at least he's moving on and getting on with his life.
