I'm writing a new poem, I'll try to use your advise(:

its good! but for me, who is not American ,, (but i can understand English though) i think you have to have more describing words.. try to put in words the feelings that might explode there in your heart, try to write a poem that will really make your reader feel as if you are with them,. :)
