@ Michael Westen Some poems I write like that as they're usually meant for other people, but I don't think I'll be able to share this one with him. It makes references to the past, our short breakup, and we just don't like to bring up those things anymore as they effect the both of us.
I feel as if I took those parts out though and still gave the poem to him, it just wouldn't feel "whole" to me.
This reads so personal I almost feel like I shouldn't have read it, but it's great. I love the go between with what's being said and the references to who said it.
