The line ‘... and experimenting with time’ plays with the rhythm and timing of that couplet. Experiments with its timing if you will. Brilliant

You did a lot here. I liked the setup of the characters from the start. Gives a sense of a leisurely life. The dragons whimpering in so disgustingly clear is a good image, such a big beast lowered to whimpering. Then the men whisper to the beasts but I imagine them yelling and the dragons can hardly hear the men. Maybe I’m missing the point. The sloop dragon can only play in the sandbox and it was the one that didn’t flee so there was a sloop park made in the kingdom. I can associate a sandbox with a park. I wonder what inspired this piece.. I will be rereading this, good work. Wish we would hear from you more. Blessed be
