The Maine

The Maine The Maine is a Pop Punk/Indie Rock band from Phoenix, Arizona currently signed to Fearless Records. They were formed in 2007, the original line up was John O' Callaghan (singer), Pat Kirch (drummer), Garrett Nickelsen (bassist) and Alex Ross.

In spring of 2007 they added Kennedy Brock (guitar) who sang for a band called Last Call For Camden and in the same year Ross left the band and they added Jared Monaco (guitar) since then they have self-released an EP called "Stay Up, And Get Down".

"The Way We Talk" was their second EP and they recorded a cover of Akon's "I Wanna Love You" which is included in the "Punk Goes Crunk" compilation album, in the summer of '08 after performing on The Vans Warped Tour they released Can't Stop, Won't Stop and it was their first full length album which was produced by Matt Squire (Boys Like Girls, Panic At The Disco), their latest album "...And A Happy New Year" only features Christmas themed songs, one of is "Last Christmas (Wham! Cover), they got the band name "The Maine" from a song called "Coast Of Maine" by Ivory which is one of their favorite bands and influences.
