The Greenlight District

The Greenlight District gained popularity over MySpace rather quickly, and by their first show in January of '09 they had a very strong following in the California area. At their first show they played with 'The Millionaires', 'Watch Out! There's Ghosts', and 'I Set My Friends on Fire' with special guests Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox of SMOSH.

Since then The GLD has toured all of California. And a few dates in surrounding states. They even played the California tour dates of Warped Tour 09. At the end of Warped Aaron decided to leave GLD to pursue a solo career.

With Aaron gone, Jaime and Jordan decided to keep going with The Greenlight District, and headed off to the studio.

A couple months later the boys released their single 11:11 which received great reviews from fans. After the great success of 11:11 the boys once again hit the cities with a spot on BrokenCyde's 'Get Crunk Tour'.

After a few dates with BC13, Jaime and Jordan went into the studio again and cranked out another amazing song. This time a cover of the song 'Replay' by IYAZ. Which can be downloaded from their MySpace for free.

With Jaime in his last year of high school, it's amazing what The Greenlight District has become in such a short amount of time. I remember when the boys barely had 1,000 friends on MySpace, and now with over 30k they have done a marvelous job promoting themselves and gathering fans from all over the world.
