I loved this, it seemed very poignant. And definitely wasn't an unpopular opinion with me. Nice work.

Why is this an unpopular opinion? I thought more people, of all ages, liked The Beatles than disliked them.

    1. I'm sorry for all the grammar mistakes. I type fast, so it causes a lot of typos. 2. with most people my age, liking them really is an unpopular opinion. I know a bunch of people who don't even know who they are. 3. I didn't mean to say that the songs were just McCartney. I know that Lennon had also written/co-written a lost of their stuff, too. 4. I admit, this article is biased. I wasn't trying to make it factual. 5. I know they're not the sole basis for all modern music and that The Beatles had their own inspiration. I'm just saying that because a lot of bands I listen to say that their inspiration was The Beatles. I'm sorry for any misunderstandings.

The Beatles' music was pioneer music. It was the first of its kind. For instance, the sound in, "Revolution," was created by plugging the guitar into the recording device, which was very unorthodox, even today. I believe the article was well-written with few errors.

They were definitely high. So.... Yeah. Very much so.
Also, Lennon was a major song writer too. Almost all the songs were McCarthney-Lennon. Not just McCartney.

I agree with everything in this article. People that I know have a developed a hate for The Beatles. I have no idea why; they're amazing. A lot of people from my school are always saying how overrated they are. Since when? I don't see how they're overrated at all. I hate that; when people think that a band is sucks and are overrated just because they're really talented and well-known.

You spelled 'dummer' instead of drummer. Pretty okay, a bit biased though, I agree.

I love The Beatles, but I don't really think that liking them is unpopular, haha. I also disagree with the idea that Paul McCartney was the lead singer and lyrical genius - he and John Lennon both sang fairly equal amounts and I highly prefer Lennon's songs to those that McCartney wrote. You mention I Am the Walrus - written by John :) Your article does come off as a tad bit biased (especially in regards to McCartney, hahaha) but it was otherwise well-written.

I never grew up listening to The Beatles.
But now looking back over the years and just how much on an inspiration they are to many of the bands I listen too now, I can see why they are so famously known.
They are a band that will live through generations on.

I concur with asteroid. The unpopular opinion would be that one dislikes like the Beatles. I am, however, a fan of the Beatles. And asteroid is right, they're not the basis for modern music. At least not the 'sole basis'. You have to remember that the Beatles were influenced once as well. Their influences were the 40's and 50's (in your article you implied that the Beatles released songs in the 50's. The second or third paragraph, I believe. However, you contradict yourself in your closing paragraph. The songs were released between 1962 and 1970.) The great thing about modern music is that it is very eclectic when it comes to influences. This is what makes songs so unique. This can conclude that your article has just a hint of being biased. Be careful with how you word sentences in any future articles.

First off, amen to everything you said.lol. :D
The Beatles inspire me in sooo many ways that have changed my life. And while, yes, they are in the past, I believe their spirit and the inspiration they put in others is so very much alive today.

Actually, the unpopular opinion is to not like them, which is what I think. And no, they're not the basis for modern music.
