Your article was just breathe taking. I have only been a fan now for almost a year. I want to go to a concert, but sadly there aren't any near me, but this article was amazing!
I was at that concert too!!!!!! April 14, 2007. Remember when Frank and Gerard stopped the show TWICE to tell off some kids fighting in the mosh pit? My mom thought that was totally awesome. Great article by the way.
Wow... your article literally left me breathless. I had forgotten what it was like, to have all those fears and dreads, and then overcome it with the help of music. I always knew that I'd be forever grateful, and I can't think of the band without a smile on my face, but I had forgotten the immens lonesome void that was suddenly filled with tunes and lyrics that went straight to my heart.
They do save lives. And I am very grateful that you reminded me of my past with this article. Some things should never be forgotten.
(And, just for the record, this is probably one of the most heartfelt and sincere articles I have ever read. It touched my heart.)
Thank you everyone..
First commenter..I appreciate your opinion, but I and many others COMPLETELY disagree.
It’s funny. When you think of someone saving a life, you think of them doing some great heroic act when really, sometimes it’s just being there for someone, so they don’t do something incredibly tragic.
yeah, that was touching .
ehhh, but they really do save your life, person-who-commented-first .
I had a crappy brother, ehhh...
grew up roughly...
lost the will when everything just came tumbling down when I experienced seeing child abuse at the age of 11...
you should've seen me 3 years ago...
Sorry, still hate to be a party pooper. Bands can't save lives. Glad to see you found something you like. That's always cool. :] Very long article. Semi-interesting. Still, the only person who can save their life if the person themselves. :]
