my opinion comes in a few things that i want to do after i put that book down after five hours of reading the last few chapters when i should have been asleep...
1) slap Rosalie...
2) hug jacob and take him away from all this madness...
3) slap Bella for thinking fluffy thoughts....
4) slap her again for breaking jacob's heart...
5) high five leah for making bella cry...(wait did she? i gave de book to my friend after reading it just one time..)
6) kick rosalie....
7) sleep for 5 hours...
i also loved breaking dawn but twilight is the best of the series...in breaking dawn i disliked jacobss pov cuz i actually have always disliked jacob period! but he really agitated me when he imprinted on renesmee, i almost hurled the book across the room...but instead i screamed!lol i know its weird but i really hate him with a passion, thats why although i have all four books to own myself at home, i still yet have the patience to fully read new moon over!! ugggg, hate him soo much!lol
I loved Breaking Dawn, but it was not my favorite book in the series; Eclipse holds that place, followed by New Moon, then Twilight, and then Breaking Dawn. I actually didn't like the fact that a lot of the book was written in Jacob's P.O.V, because I couldn't help holding a grudge against him at the time... he was in the way of the happy ending. Of course I don't mind him now, after it turned out there was a way for him to be included in the story without ruining the happy ending.
Sure, it was worth the wait.
So i could burn it, along with the rest of that pathetic excuse for a series. Face it honey, HIGHLY pumped up book that really ended in nothing but a coat of sugar that, if one bothers to examine instead of lick in blind ecstasy, is created for no purpose but to send 13yr old girls into wild fits of imagination about when they too can dream of getting bitten by a FREAKING VAMPIRE!!!!!!
This novel, along with the rest of the twilight series, is just poorly written fairy floss with ordinary boring characters..and a vampire or two to top it off.
Nice..or not
I had Breaking Dawn with me only 2 days after its release date, and I was so pissed cause I've been waiting to have the book on my hands for ages. When I finally had the book in my hands however, I was so deeply into the book I can't take my eyes off it. I tried to read the book at the slowest pace possible( I didn't want to end the series fast in fear of crying the rest of my life without knowing what happens after Breaking Dawn). I read it within a week. I enjoyed the book, and true enough, Renesmee's name was kind of eccentric, but that don't matter. Stephenie wrote the book in a very beautiful way, and I find myself deeply into it. The idea of having part of the book in Jake's POV was also cool. I saw a side of him that I haven't in the series, and I loved him more that way. Breaking Dawn was wonderfully written, especially the last part where Bella allowed Edward to read her mind. A beautiful ending that swept me away.
I agree with everything you said. There are so many people puting it down but I loved it just because everyone was okay. I was cheering for Edward but I wanted Jacob to be happy as well. In fact, I would have cried forever if any of the characters died. Except maybe the Volturi, but who cares really. My heart broke when Alice had left and I thought she was gone forever. But thank you for a positive review.
BREAKING DAWN IS SO FRICKIN' AWESOME...I got it he night it came out and then it took me a whole day and a half to read it...though that was longer than the other books which took me less than a day...It was ttly worth that wait...
It was tied as my favorite book of the series...it was like one big giant soap opera..like the whole wedding incident with Bella and then the pregnancy...I LOVED It!
Pshh..
I'm still in the middle of reading New Moon right now.
I don't know if it can hold my attention like Twilight did...
but we will see...
maybe I'll eventually get to Breaking Dawn...
In my opinion, I say Breaking Dawn was excellent.
My second favorite book of the series, aside from Twilight itself.
And after reading Jacob's point of view more, it was much more understanding. I was never quite the Jacob fan. x]
But the ending was perfect, twist after twist and especially the part where Bella was pregnant made me excited and kept me up on my toes. And the Volturi's decision waiting kept my heart pounding for me to read more and more.
Definitely worth the wait...for me anyways.
As for the movie, I am really excited but I just hope they don't ruin it.
I agree with everything you said. Breaking Dawn was definitely worth the wait, it was an amazing book. I'm sad that the series is over, but so excited for the movie!
I personly didn't love the book as much as I hoped.
It was a great book, but I thought she contradicted the other books alot, and that it was slightly predictable.
I was very disappointed with the book, actually.
I never wanted Bella to end up with Edward after New Moon. And what is this tripe about Jacob imprinting on a hybrid-baby? He's not supposed to imprint!
According to nearly every major publishing company: "The book is bad, but the writting is good." This article is kinda poor in the sense it has massive drag-on paragraphs. Also the account is very biased.
Good review, but I'm a bit disappointed. The book wasn't BAD, and I do think Stephenie is a good writer, but so many parts of the book confused the hell out of me. And I am all for fluffy stories, but at some parts, I wanted to gag (not at the wild sex part; that actually was pretty funny, lol). There was unnecessary drama. Like when Jasper and Alice left (I cried at that part) and then when everyone was saying goodbye to each other, and Bella was saying, "get ready. it's starting." I cried at that part, too, because I was so convinced that at least on person was going to die. And then the Volturi leave just like that. After the drama building up, I was expecting (and hoping for) at least a little showdown. It needed wayyy more action. And everyone was just so happyhappyhappy at the end. The book felt kind of rushed.
Overall, it was pretty good. But honestly, I'm glad the series is over (though I'm still very excited for the Twilight movie).
