Acceleration

Acceleration Do you love mystery novels? Then this is a great book for you. In the beginning it's a little slow but after a while you can't put down this book.

"Working at the Toronto Transit Commission's lost and found. Nine to five. Monday to Friday. A little slice of death, on day at a time."

Duncan is working at the lost and found all summer under the subway. No one to talk to but a cranky old man named Jacob. The real story begins when he first starts to read it, the diary.

"Crack slaves and whores been using this boarded-up hotel to crash. Didn't need the crowbar to get in. Climbed the fire escape and squeezed through a broken window. Junkies and skanks are good cover. Cops will blame them and their pipes for the fire. Using thinner this time. They'll think it is left over from the sniffers and huffers. The hotel's a skeleton, stripped. Ripe for burning.

THREE TRUCKS RESPONDING. THREE COP CARS. TWO AMBULANCES. BIG CROWN. FEEL THE HEAT A BLOCK AWAY."

Duncan hands it over to the police but because of his past they regard it as a joke. It is up to him to find this mad man serial killer now. Duncan's past always has a way of biting him on the butt though.

Duncan needs the help of his two best friends Wayne and Vinny. Will he follow the clues and catch him or will he get away and keep killing? Read Acceleration by Graham McNamee to find out.
