Anyone who stumbles on this review, please note that the majority of the people who reviewed this were teenage girls. Let's face it (I'm not a sexist), teenage girls will like anything.
Twilight is an OK book. I only read the first one and to be honest, I really don't want to read the rest. Bella and Edward don't captivate me and in the end, I couldn't care less what happened to them. But that's just my opinion...
I find Twilight to be horribly written and extremely boring. The love between Bella and Edward is so artificial and based on nothing deep, nothing that will help them through hardships. It's written just like an fanfiction you may find on the internet. It doesn't one bit live up the hype.
Also, as others have said, it isn't a trilogy. And nicely written review, even though I, obviously, don't agree.
This book was without a doubt the best book I have ever read. I was very surprised at how it turned out, especially since it was her fisrt published book. It was amazing =]
its odd because i never like to read. always hated it and i would just get bored on any book within the first 30 min read, or would stop right after chp. 1 and never pick up the book until 2 weeks after. Or least when i felt like it, could be a long time.
but yesterday, my dad took me to a bookstore and i bought twilight. normally, i wouldn't pick this type of book because its like 500 pages. that scares me...but my friend read it and new moon, and she said I SHOULD read it. i said nah..then she convinced me b/c it was about vampires.
eversince i opened it, i haven't been able to rest my eyes. THE BOOK IS SO GOOD! i really recommend it to anyone.
:D
Man, i'm a guy and embarrassing as this actually is, i loved twilight. . and the rest of the serious *cries*. . .and I'm awaiting the next book in the series with a mixture of apprehension and excitement. . true story lol.
Anyway, good review and i liked the way you used the blurb from the back of the novel lol
