The Twilight series drew me in, and I liked them, I'm not going to lie. But Breaking Dawn, Not-uh. When it came into Jacob's POV, I felt like skipping it. To me, it was way beyond boring. And I just though it wasn't her best work.

    Brilliantly written article!
I agree with everything you wrote.
I have only read up to New Moon but,
still it sickens me slightly on how much she contradicts herself.
If Bella was really just an "average girl" ,
simply "clumbsy" and "average looking" ,
why is she made so special and made so that practically every guy she meets likes her?
    And in my opinion
i don't even think half the people read the books because it contained vampires.
A lot of people read it because they knew it was a romance.

    anyway I'm ranting now ^^'
    Good job with the article.

Very well written and detailed article.

I have yet to make it past the first Twilight book - even though before BD even came out I knew she was going to get married, have his child, and have their fairy tail happily ever after - but the worst part is, I NEVER thought it would actually happen. I pretty much said those things on an angry rant of hearing Twilight this and Twilight that. When I read the so-called "spoilers" of the people who already read this, I was just too surprised to know she really did it. I agree that Meyer just contradicts herself. A vampire cannot get a human girl pregnant. I don't give a shit how "fictional" this book is - and with something like that happen, it would be super-fiction - no matter what excuse she makes up, that has to be the biggest disgrace I have ever heard of happening in a "vampire" novel.

Anyway, I don't know if I will ever finish all the books. I'd like to finish Twilight, but I have much better and important books to read. But even my brother couldn't make it past New Moon because apparently all Bella did was bitch and moan how Edward wasn't there.

Okay, I'm just gonna stop there, I'll get too ranty. xD
Overall, your article was one of the much better Breaking Dawn reviews.

Personally, I think Breaking Dawn is an OK book, but some parts of it were drawn out for what seemed like forever. I have never really thought of Stephanie Meyer as a low grade author, though I can see where you are coming from with the rushed and dulled out resolution. Secondly, even though I still haven't seen the movie myself, I can confidently say that it was a bust. I pretty much never see movies that have been made from novels because they are, quite frankly , ruining ones perceptions about a book.

I agree with what you have said. My best friend got the book, before it became an actual hit and got me to read the book. I deteasted from the beginning, none the less read the whole entire thing to ruin her liking to the book. I'm a natural Edward hater.

The first time i saw twilight it was at the school bookfair and the book was in a package for a $1.00. It was pretty low degraded, i find it surprising that people actually thought it was good.

The movie sucked, it completely ruined the saga. I find the book better then the movie. And i'm a twilight hater too.

Simply put, i agree with you.

I first have to say flames are not cool man.
I'm a fan of twilight, I liked breaking dawn, but I do agree with you on some points. But, on others I don't. But hey, everyone has their own different opinions.
But I do have to say i didn't like the movie at all. It was like some god awful parody from HELL! <3 ^-^

Wow. Way to show us your colorful opinion. I, for one, am a Twilight fan. The way you analyzed it though - wow! Where were you when I needed help with Touched With Fire?
I randomly clicked this page but it was a rather interesting read. More interesting than "Breaking Dawn"? I don't think.

I hate when stories end but what I hate more is when it's ruined. Even though I don't think Breaking Dawn is stupid or useless or 'low grade' I still believe that it shouldn't have been made.
Ofcourse the movie - oh the movie - so ruined Twilight. Far beyond anything could ever.
I cannot believe I - I, the hugest Twilight fan there could be [okaay maybe the 200th] - uttered the words, "disappointment", "boring", "the worst movie I've seen" in remarks to Twilight.

I'd take a messed up Breaking Dawn over that. I'm a little pissed that it ended and with that note. "Forever" is crap...how come Twilight [saga] isn't lasting? Hmph.

    xSAI

PS: I tend to go on. Apologies in advance. :)
