Evermore - Alyson Noel

Evermore - Alyson Noel Evermore is the story of 16 year old, Ever Bloom. She loses her family in a terrible car crash. After the crash she can see people's auras, hear thoughts, and know a person's entire life story just by touching them. She is scared to get close to anyone because she always learns more then she needs to know. She hates having these abilities and avoids human contact at any cost.

But when Damen Auguste moves there everything changes. Damen is gorgeous but something is different about him. Something isn't normal. He can paint Van Gough better then Van Gough. He seems just to perfect to be true and every girl wants him. But he seems only interested in Ever. Ever is drawn to Damen but she never gets enough answers just more questions. The only thing she really knows is that she is falling for him and hard.

The rest is a SPOILER ALERT.

Let's just say Damen isn't a vampire. He laughs at Ever when she asks if he is a vampire he says "Vampires don't exist." He is immortal, meaning he can live forever. He drinks this weird red drink like a punch, but never says what it is. Ever is falling deep for him and can't seem to help how she feels around him. He silences all the random noise that she can't help but here. Ever doesn't want to fall for him at first thinking he is to good to be true and because one of her only friends, Haven, called dibs on him. She can't help but wonder if Damen is a player, he seems to always be flirting. He flirts with other people not on purpose but to see her reaction.

He does magic tricks, pulling different flowers out of different peoples ears. He pulls red tulips out of Evers ear, and white roses out of Stacia's. We later bring in Drina a gorgeous girl that seems to hate Ever for no reason. Drina soon starts taking Ever's friend Haven and turning her into a look alike.

Damen tells Ever what he is and how he falls for her is all of there past lives. He lives like he normally would after she dies, with Drina. Him and Drina are kind of married but it doesn't matter because of how long ago it happened. We find out that Drina is the one that has been killing Ever every time she comes back.

Alyson Noel is incredible leaving her usual writing behind for something slightly darker but still full of love. I would recommend this book to any one, it's got a little of everything.
