  • SUCH a good book. I got it the day before Christmas and finished it the next morning. Great book. So emotional and raw. I loved it.

  • This book was just amazing. I got it for my dad for Christmas two years ago, back when he wanted it. He took it camping and barely got through the introductions before giving it to me to read, knowing I was a Motley Crue fan. This book was just a big inspiration to me to continue doing what I love, and it allowed me insight to someone else's life. Even in his lowest moments, Nikki was still strong. And I admire that about him. It's an introduction to a potential rock star lifestyle, so it's somewhat of a warning as well. It's like "this is what could happen if you do drugs" and such. But it's an amazing book.

  • the heroin diaries is an amazing book, just like the dirt. biographies make you realize that life isnt perfect, even for rockstars. they try to escape through drugs and alcohol, abusing substances... it really is an eye-opener for younger people

  • I loved your review of Heroin Diaries, I'm another big fan of this book. I found it to be very interesting to see just what it was like for Nikki Sixx, I liked how he let the readers into his mind at one of his lowest moments. I'm not a big Motley Crue fan seeing as I only like a few songs but I'm a big fan of Sixx AM. Amazing article for an amazing book.

  • I too loved the Heroin Diaries. In fact, I think it's probably my favorite book that I've ever read. You're right about the emotion that is displayed in the way he wrote about it, and how much pain he is still in because of the abandonment he had to deal with. I'm going to see Motley Crue in 2 weeks, and I'm so glad that Nikki's still a part of the band because it just wouldn't be Motley without him. Great article
