I read the whole series within a week and fell in love. It was better than Twilight! By far! And that's pretty freaking hard to beat!

The ending of this book was perfect
I bawled at the sweetness
But it wasn't cliche
There was a bittersweet note to it that helped
Jace was amazing
And the end when Clary asks for Jace when she could have anything broke my heart
That's real love
Even though he was such an butt in the begining, he still loved her
"And I’m supposed to sit by while you date boys and fall in love with someone else, get married...? And meanwhile I’ll die a bit more every day, watching."
Anyone else's heart break?

You do know that she is making another different series based off the whole Shadowhunter world! Check out her website cassandraclare.com for more info. The new series is called The Infernal Devices. Like this was The Mortal Instruments. :)

Oh! And Jinxh, you are sort of right. The girl was Cassandra Claire. Spelt different, but I don't think it's the same girl. Although, I could be completley wrong, I'm not 100% on that, so don't quote me or anything lol.

I absolutely adored this trilogy!! I was given the first book as gift, and it was finished that night! The ending of the first two books completely depressed me because I had been routing for Jace and Clary to get together.
This last book is definetely a favourite (I have to say the first is my all time favourite though). The entire plot line was so clever. I loved how bits of data that seemed insignifigant earlier on became so important towards the end.
I personally think it would be great just to see what happens with Jace and Clary, and how they're relationship worked out. I'd also like to know how things went with Jocelyn and Luke (who I adored as well).
Just all in all, an amazing series to read.

I loved this series!

I also wanted to know what the Seelie Queen wanted of Clary... I guess that as well as the fact that Sebastien's body supposedly drifted down the river and was never found kind of opens the possibility of another book. But I doubt it. It's just a hope :)

Isn't Cassandra Clare the one who plagarised all that writing a while back and got caught, or am I thinking of someone else? Same name, I think, I just don't know if it's the same girl.

Loved the series it was mind-enhancing. The only part that got me a little off edge was were she had Clary and Jace as brother and sister, that kinda threw me off focus for a bit. If you had a sibling you would understand how weird that would be for you. Overall it was FANTASTIC.

One of the best series i've read in a long time.
Though the ending, i REALLY wanted to know what the Seelie Queen wanted to tell Clary.
Hahaha, these are amazing books, Jace is just GORGEOUS!

I heart these books.
Did the last part of the book make anyone else laugh? ;D
Where Jace was like, "I AM A MAN. I DO NOT DRINK PINK DRINKS. GET ME SOMETHING BROWN."
"Brown?"
"Yes, brown. That is a manly colour!"
I died, laughing.

Teenage Dirtbag, the Twilight series shouldn't even be in a league with this series. The Mortal Instruments trilogy has everything - plot, character development, witty dialogue, amazing twists and turns...

Definitely worth your time. :]

...as in, is it just another Twilight series or is it actually worth reading?

I cried when it ended, too. Sometimes I'd just go back and read the last chapter and the waterworks would just come. Favorite series, ever c:
