Super Paper Mario

Super Paper Mario Super Paper Mario is my favorite Wii game yet. I have played it twice and still can’t get enough of it. To me all Mario games put your mind in process elimination and strategy mode but from all the Mario games I’ve played, I believe this game puts those skills to the max.

When I first started playing the game, I hit a huge wall in the game. There are eight doors in the game and each door holds four chapters. I was on door one and chapter three when I hit the wall. There was this blue pedestal type of thing that I got to and didn’t know what to do. Eventually I gave up trying to figure out what to do and used a walkthrough. Off of the walkthrough, I finished the whole game (but that didn’t make it easy).

About a year later I played the game again without the walkthrough and had completely forgotten what to do except for fighting the monsters (which wasn’t that hard to figure out). And did perfectly fine with it although I stopped at Count Bleak’s castle because that’s where the game gets really hard although I already know what to do. But while doing so, I realized that all the walls I hit before in the game could have easily been figured out if I just thought about it and used my provided resources.

It’s amazing all the thinking you have to do to complete the game. It’s a good way to exercise your mind and good practice with using what you got and knowing what to do in tough situations with minimum recourses. All in all, it’s a really good game and the thing I like the most about it is the strategy it takes the complete it. In my opinion it is a much better game than those mindless games with all the killing and destruction. It’s a game that forces you to think and in my book that is always a plus.
