They should have either gotten the directors of Harry Potter; made the movie come in three parts, not CHOP anything out, or left it a book. It sucked. and now i've lost the images in my head of everything. maybe a cartoon instead? no need to screw everything up...December 16th, 2008 at 11:31am

im glad im not the only one hwo noticed bella's stuttering..way overboard! she is an terrible actress..although i did luv seeing jasper and alice, they were perfect...but i also agree that this should have stayed an book, i still adore the series and will always!! yet still wat about the second one...new moon...kristen will be perfect for the no emotion months that pass by..cuz she has no emotion either way...but they might not even make it sooo>>>>>>>>>>>>December 15th, 2008 at 10:28pm

I really hate to burst your bubble, but they filmed in Portland, Oregon, not Forks, Washington.
However, everything is the same out there: Big, green, wet and leafy, so I guess it doesn't really matter.December 8th, 2008 at 11:45pm -
Your review was great...I agree with it almost 100%. IDecember 7th, 2008 at 05:07am

I know you expected some giant beautiful picture that was amazing and all that, but instead you leave the theater disappointed and wanting your money back. I think that the book should have stayed a book. I mean in theory the idea of Twilight the movie sounds great, but the really thing is that it's just one of those books that should stay a book because it's so imaginative that by making it a movie you take away that effect and say this is the way it has to happen this is the way it is and it really just sucked all the fun out of it for everyone. I hated the movie, but I still love the book series and always will.December 5th, 2008 at 08:57pm

I thought Alice was great. I thought Bella stuttered too much and that Edward talked too slowly. I also think that my expectations were way too high.December 5th, 2008 at 01:20am

I have to agree on some of your points
however I did not think it was disappointing at all.....from the very beginning it was mentioned that the movie was going to be different and nearly impossible to be the same as the book. Therefore, I did not go into the movie theater with expectations of scenes from the book to play into the movie.
I simply watched the trailers and interviews of behind the scenes and went in without judgement. and glad to say was not disappointed. The thing about it was I believe it was silently humorous which I think differentiates itself from the book. Which I may add is a key point to making the movie.
I do agree that Jasper was ridiculous, his expression in some scenes were awful, however his face did not fail. But Alice was fine, in my opinion.
Thanks for "listening"

Never went to the movie, never read the book, now that I've read that I don't plan to.December 3rd, 2008 at 10:01pm

I agree with most of this.December 3rd, 2008 at 01:19am

I agree with you. I have never read twilight, and I thought the movie would entice me to start reading the book. Big disappointment. It lacked an ending. I thought there would be more content. And making the climax of the story Edward and James' fight scene, not impressive. But kudos on leaving me hangging and making me want to read the series just to know what happens next.November 30th, 2008 at 09:08am

I honestly thought the movie was great, and all the actors did a pretty good job.
But whatever, that's my opinion.November 28th, 2008 at 06:55pm -
Are you freaking kidding me?
Kristen Stewart was pathetic. She was incredibly stiff and limited, had no facial expressions whatsoever, DIDN'T EVEN BLUSH, and did an all around shitty job.
As an actor myself, I feel like she was a disgrace.November 27th, 2008 at 05:44pm -
Thank you all for reading. I'm very interested in your opinions, so thank you, also, for posting replies.November 26th, 2008 at 10:42pm

I don't know.
I mean I really liked the movie.
Its funny but to me at least majority of the books that end up becoming movies are a little disappointing but thats because we have read the book and once the movie comes out the script may have left some things out or added some things and that may disappoint us.
But all in all I really liked the film.
I'm really anxious to see how the other films will turn out.November 26th, 2008 at 06:29pm -
i assumed it might be disappointed at some parts, but i kind of liked it...
except for how they made the houses...
edward's room is too small...
and kristen has this ability to flare up her nostrils at any part in the movie, it made me laugh...that happened in Speak...November 25th, 2008 at 05:17am -
I assumed it would lack.
I mean, it was so hyped up.
And most of the major Twilight fans were too blinded to realize that there were other books and movies out there that would have been worth their time.
I liked the series but I really think it is over rated.November 25th, 2008 at 04:56am -
omg i loved twilight it was awesomeNovember 24th, 2008 at 08:37pm
I'm happy that someone else has been a fan from the begining and realized that this movie was crap.
