Oh, the janitor thing. The torso is at the top of the mountain of crap outside. But oh my god, those faces are perfect.

In the first one, the torso thing freaks me the hell out.

It wasn't nearly as good as the first one, I'll give you that. The first one used to always scare the crap out of me. Haha.

I've never played the games, but saw the first movie. As a movie, I liked it. But the second one...I just...no. Though I guess I can't make that judgement, as I haven't played the games.

That's understandable. I mean, I'm deathly afraid of spiders, and I'm afraid of the dark, so it doesn't really take much to scare me. xD I'm just a wuss, I suppose.

I tend to be really critical of horror films, original or not because it takes a lot to scare me XD

Well, that's why I usually don't compare movies to their predecessors, because there isn't really any comparison. The games are really scary, and I don't mind admitting that. But watching the movie without being biased, I found there to be a lot of parts that had be jumping and hiding my face. I enjoyed it, but to each their own.

I actually didn't find it scary at all, especially when you compare it to the games. Even standing alone I didn't find much horror elements in it.

It did change really important parts. But with what they changed, I thought they made up for in the horror element.

I hated this film. It changed really important parts of the games and just made what I thought, was a terrible movie.

Yeah, Cali. It's really awesome. The scareactors look so real. LOL I was so scared the first few days when I was working inside the maze. But now it's not, especially when the scareactors blow me kisses and start dancing. The other night me and two other scareactors started dancing and we were turned away from the door, so we didn't see this whole group of people come in. When we turned around we just froze, and the people are staring at us like 'What the fuck is going on here?' LMAO We didn't even move. And then someone brought one of those medical dogs with them. And as they come into our room, the scareactor keeps on doing his motions but is like 'Nice doggie'. When the dog left the guy looked at me and said 'I don't know how to scare a dog. This wasn't part of the job description'

I do recommend it. I enjoyed it, aside from the negatives that I stated. It was pretty good. Cute
OMG, there's a Silent Hill Maze?! I wish I lived near you so I could go. Lol. It's in Cali, right? I'm assuming since you said Hollywood. XD

It follows the games in a sense. The characters match that of the game, but the story line is almost completely different; pretty much just like the first movie was. A lot of the stuff that happened in the game either doesn't happen in the movie, or is changed around. Being a fan of the game, I wasn't too happy about the changes; but those who haven't played the games I think could appreciate the story line. Those are really the only faults I could find within the movie. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Does this one follow the games story any more then the other one like how was the acting, and what else did or didn't you like from the movie?

LOL You know I work at the Universal Studios Hollywod Silent Hill Maze, and up until now, I had absolutely no clue what the hell it was about. I kept hearing different versions, and I'm constantly seeing the preview for the movie that just came out. But even the previews seriously confused me. Thanks to you, I actually get what the recent movie is about. And now I kinda wanna see it. Although I think I sort of should anyways since I work inside the maze. BTW, the maze is actually really good. If you're near it you hould definitely go to Universal. :)

No, I definitely agree; the games are much better. Video games don't usually scare me, but the Silent Hill games are just...so freakin' creepy. Lol. When I played Silent Hill: Downpour, I actually had to keep the lights on at certain points because otherwise I'd be paranoid about every shadow or creak heard throughout the house.

I actually did like the first movie, but only because I saw it when I was like...12 or 13, and it was one of the first movies to legit scare the crap out of me. It doesn't so much anymore, but I appreciate the fact that it did at one point. I was surprised, though, that they were able to pull off some OMFG moments during the second one - even my mom was jumping and nonchalantly letting out shrieks. Haha. XD

Not going to lie, I didn't really like the first movie. I felt that the games were much, much better. Of course, maybe I'm biased - I played the games long before they ever made the movie.

That being said, I didn't even know there was a sequel, so I'll be interested to see this one when it hits my shores. And I agree - any horror movie that can actually make you scream these days has gotta be good.
