World War Z

As you can probably guess by the title, World War Z is a movie about zombies. Starring Brad Pitt and a talented supporting cast, the film is very enjoyable and I recommend it for anyone who is a fan of zombies or thrilling movies.

The zombies featured in this movie are a bit different to the typical zombie. Turning is very sudden, taking a mere twelve seconds to occur after a bite. Once infected, they are energetic and dangerous. This only adds to the intensity of the film’s action scenes, which are sure to leave you frightened and full of adrenaline. As someone who is used to slow zombies and longer turning times, this was a pleasant change.

Brad Pitt is the centre of the movie, but he doesn’t steal the spotlight. The rest of the cast of this film are gifted and convey emotions perfectly. In a terrifying situation, both Mireille Enos and Daniella Kertesz portray their characters wonderfully, adding to the way the movie draws you in.

The plot is captivating, though it contains some predictable moments. Nonetheless, it keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat and anticipating the next action scene. I won’t say much about the ending, but I will say that I was surprised. It was something I hadn’t seen before, or even considered, and I liked the ending despite how it seemed a bit rushed.

World War Z is a great movie for anyone who loves action or zombies. Even if you’re doubtful about seeing it, you won’t regret it.
