I love this movie, it made my childhood. Everything about it is great, from script, acting, costume and set design. This film made me fall in love with David Bowie.

I hate to seem critical, but I agree with a couple of the comments here. This review reveals too much about the plot, especially the ending of all things, and anybody who hasn't watched it will have it spoiled on them.

I quite adore this film. I have 1 DVD and 2 VHS copies.

However, I don't think this was a review. I think it was a synopsis. It took me everything about the plot, including the end, but it didn't review the movie except for the very last paragraph.

I love this movie, always have. I used to watch it everyday. The songs are on my iPod hahah I wish it was still on Netflix!

I love the movie. :) I remember watching it a lot as a kid. Toby's outfit still sticks in my mind, as does David Bowie's parts.

I agree with a mimosa pudica about the review though. I wish it wasn't a summary of the movie. It could definitely ruin it for people who haven't seen it.

I grew up on this movie! I could quote the whole thing, songs included, at five years old and once my kids are a bit older, they're going to watch it as well. :)

This is one of my favorite movies ever. My grandpa is very into mystical things like this and dragons, wizards, fairies, what-have-you! He adored this film and passed it down to my mother, who passed it down to me. I could watch it over and over and again once and never tire of it.

I first watched this movie when I was a kid and didn't fully grasp the concept, but it left such a huge impression on me, I later found it again after searching for it for a year or so, I love it, one of my favourite movies by far!

The movie was fairly interesting when I watched it on Fox Family Movies. It was a very old movie, in my opinion. Yet, it was definitely entertaining and fun to watch.

However, I don't think you should have given most of the details in the movie if you're making a review about it. If I hadn't watched it and I read your review, I wouldn't be as excited to watch the movie as I did before reading your article.
