I know what you mean now. I just saw the information on it on wikipedia while looking at the Dragonball Evolution page and believe it or not, I feel the same way about the live action movie, too. I only watched it because i love Dragonball Z and I saw two of my favorite actors in it (Chow Yun Fat/Master Roshi and James Marsden/Piccolo/Spike from Buffy).

The new movie is called Dragon ball Z battle of Gods. its a cartoon where as Evolution was horribly thought out and made movie-They could have done it so much better. -not trying to be offensive in any way I promise-

Isn't the new movie a sequel to the first one? Or am I just thinking of Dragonball Evolution alone?

I still watch DBZ on a daily basis, lol. And I've seen the remake, which isn't that bad. For those of you who are looking for the remake out now, it's called Dragon Ball Z Kai and airs on Nicktoons every morning at 1 a.m. Central.... I know this a little too much, lol.

I still love Dragonball Z. It just can't be beaten by the anime that is out now. The live action movie for me though didn't do it justice. Also a remake? O.o

Love. Watched as a kid and have never forgotten the best anime of all time. It beats One piece, Naruto, Bleach and all the mainstream animes at the moment. Nothing can beat this anime >O<.

I always LOVED Dragon Ball Z back in the day and still do. The only problem with the series is that all the battles are drawn out for like ten episodes, Bleach has the same problem to me. Mostly why I stick with the mangas. But nonetheless Dragon Ball Z was what I grew up on as well as all the old Toonami and Adult Swim lineup way back when.
