Death Note

It all begins in a world of Death Gods with a rotting haven, boredom, and nothing better to do. In a twist of fate, one of the Death Gods (Ryuk) notebook has been lost in the world of Earth.

The events that play out after this incident becoming nothing more than a domino effect.

Yagami Light, a seventeen year old boy, is going through a typical day of school when suddenly , he notices a mysterious book sitting in the grass. When time prevails, curiosity pushes him in picking up the book itself, otherwise known as a Death Note.

With a series of rather odd and ungodly rules, curiosity peeks it's interest and pushes him in taking it home where sooner than later, his thirst for power and a cleansed world push him to the brink of insanity.

Overall

Personally, I absolutely adored the plot but the following sequence of events really can start to bore a being. After the first season where the death of a certain individual completely caught me off guard, I was expecting more. Almost waiting for the end or so it seemed. It gets wordy and quite political and though the end is a shock, I feel as if they stalled just to shove in an extra season.

The passion that the audience feels with each individual character is apparent in either love, hate, or frustration, and I must say that either emotion is beautiful and portrayed rather well with character development.
