@ ebony_goddess Ryuk was just sitting there on that tower all, "Least we got to kill some boredom eh?" and I was like "WHAT?!" <|333 can we cry together? Can I hug you because I just finished Death Note yesterday and I was balling when I saw Light just dead on the staircase.
Oh my goodness and when L died, I sobbed then too.
@ wu fan. I know, I got really angry. I was all screw you Ryuk....the dude was giving you apples and you pay him back like that :'( was emotional. L too. I loved him and Light both.
@ ebony_goddess I def agree with you. I thought the ending could have been better, but it was still a heart wrenching moment seeing to it the way he died.
@ Aishiteruyo. Oh, so lucky! I'm really wanting to read the manga & I loved Ryuk in the first season. He was pretty M.I.A for the rest
@ creeps Aw. Glad it brings up some memories aha. <333
Death Note was one of the first animes I really went all out with (besides InuYasha, which I was watching on adult swim before I even knew what "anime" was.) Seeing this makes me want to go back and rewatch it for the first time in years.
@ iMusic-Freak Mello gets no love at all. I guess it's based more off Near who was pretty intense, but Mello was a straight up bad ass, per say. I loved Death Note aside a few scenes.
I do have to admit that L's death caught me off guard. I was quite sad for awhile, but I got over it. My top 5 favorite characters are L, Light (he makes a good bad guy), Matt, Mello & Ryuk (he gets no love). Overall, if you're looking for a thriller, horror & mystery anime, Death Note is the anime for you. (:
