She almost always carries the same 2nd-hand messenger bag, which was her mother's, with a brown leather notebook in it. Vi grew up with no mother, just her father, hence tomboyishness. She skates regularly and got into dance when she was 12 and was forced to attend a local ballet class by her aunt.
