Danny is a key character in the story. He is Frankie's best friend, whom he has known since Frankie and his sister moved to Bolton. He has always been interested in music, and is a massive Bruce Springsteen fan. He joins McFly when he is seventeen, but always visits his little friend when he's back home. He cares a lot about her, and falls for her after knowing everything about her for ten years. But she is only sixteen. Blue eyes; Brown hair; Professional musician; Guitar and Vocals.

Lauren is another key character in the story. She begins as six in the story, with her two front teeth missing and her creativity already showing in the way she sings and attempts to write all different forms of literature. She is of above average intelligence and ends up graduating secondary school with twelve GCSE's, all at C and above (6A's, 3B's, 3C's). She goes on to college and gets two B's and a C in her courses. She gets a boyfriend at sixteen who proposes on her eighteenth birthday. She's been in love with Danny since she was eleven years old. Blue eyes; Black hair; Student; English and Linguistics

Frankie is Lauren's older brother. He is a few months younger than Danny, but they class themselves as the same age. They are best friends, and they share the protection of little Lauren throughout her school life. Frankie starts to travel the world about the same time as Danny goes on his first tour. They occasionally meet up in random countries and remain best friends forever. Frankie is the coolest big brother ever, and he made Lauren everything she is. He is her hero. Davinia is Lauren's female best friend. They meet in year one after Lauren and Frankie move down to Bolton. Davinia shares the crayons with Lauren, and they were inseperable since. They were friends until the end. Davinia always had a crush on another member of Danny's band, but had never actually realized it would ever come true. Lauren is so happy for her when it comes true, but wishes she had her own boyband guy... Green/brown eyes; Strawberry blonde hair; Student; Performing Arts
