Jared works as a bartender at a bar a block away from his apartment. Some nights he'll play with the main band the bar hires to play, either as a guitarist, singer or both. He has a girlfriend who he's fairly serious about, although sometimes he thinks he's more serious about the relationship than she is. He doesn't talk to his family that often. After an incident in college his parents disowned him. The idea of any of the family trusting him with something is crazy talk, he can't even imagine the idea.
