Birdie Kennedy wanted only one thing; a life. She has only two friends, Taylor and Layla both of which are polar opposite of her and had trouble figuring out her strange mind. She is the middle child of three sisters. Her older sister, Lizzie is 17 and is overly smitten with her boyfriend, Brendon. Her little sister, Libby is 6 and is convinced she is a cat. They live with their single workaholic mother. Birdie want's people to realize she is not shy, just quiet and that she can have fun too.
