Evanna Hartley is the only daughter of Scott and Lia Hartley. She constantly has to live her life behind the gates to the Castle. Her life is kept in the shadows, well she is kept in the shadows of life. Evanna can Change into a red wolf, she isn't a Shape Shifter so that's the only animal that she can change into. Evanna has dark red hair, with a sort of black undertone. Her eyes are a minty green with a dark chocolate outline, and when she changes into a wolf the chocolate outline of her eyes 'consumes' the minty green, making her eyes a dark chocolate colour.

Aurora is Evanna's cousin, and also her best friend. Aurora has a mutant gene; a random change of the gene’s that had been passed down to her and in this case the mutant gene was her Change gene. She can Change into whatever animal she wants when she's angry (her Mother was a Shape Shifter from a realm outside of Schwarzes Lock) but when calm, she can't Change anything about her appearance.

Jonas is Aurora's older brother, and Keller's eldest child. Keller named him ofter his dad, Johas in a way because he admired his dad all his life, apart from when he planned to kill Lia and destroy Scott's family for his own gain. Jonas is one of The Blue Eyes, but doesnt appear to have any special Powers which other Blue Eye's have been reported to have. Jonas is a Changer, and can Change into a panther. He isn't very happy about this, and longs to be able to change into other animals, like his mother and younger sister.

Delos is one of The Blue Eyes, he discovered his Power when he looked into his sisters eyes and she dropped dead before him. His Power, however, doesn't seem to work on anybody in the royal family. The only person that he feels he can trust is Aurora because she listened to him when everyone else just ignored him.

Lia is now married to Scott and they have one daughter; Evanna. Her official title is High Princess Amalia, bride of the High Prince. Lia doesn't like the fact her hair looks blood red because she thinks that it makes her seem like a monster. -And, yes. She is 35, and not 39 because when you're dead, you don't age. Do you?-
