Chloe is a fresh college graduate, and works for Spin Magazine as a staff writer/photographer. She was born in New Jersey, but she and her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland when she was four. She lives in an apartment, and not in her family's home, since she's out all the time, and she needs space. She's been best friends with Brooke Peacy and Logan Mitchell since high school. She also wears this black necklace with a matching black key to it.

Brooke was born in Sydney, Australia. She moved to America when she was 14 and still has an accent. She sings and plays lead guitars for a small indie band called The Plastics, and her guitar collection is her pride and joy, though she currently only has 6. On top of guitar, she can also play piano, bass, and drums, and has a half decent singing voice. She has her nose pierced and No Day But Today. 30/10/2003 tattooed on her wrist to remember her parents who died in a car crash on that date. Brooke has no family left, and instead, she tries to make money for herself. Despite her tragic life story, Brooke still manages to look and act happy.

Logan is one of Chloe's best friends. He is a painter. Chloe and him immediately clicked in high school when she saw a drawing of his. Logan's quiet, and doesn't really talk much unless he's got something clever to say. Other than that, Logan's pretty sweet and caring. He is also a big fan of the Beatles. He can also play the guitar like Brooke, and they clicked in high school when he passed by Brooke's house and saw her playing with her bandmates.
